Tai Chi Chuan is a traditional and ancient Chinese martial art which is also used for the promotion of health and well being as well as spiritual growth. Its slow and graceful movements teaches the practitioner to relax the body as well as the mind, which is most important for both health and martial purposes.
Daily practice of Tai Chi Chuan will keep the practitioner young in appearance, agile in movement and tranqil in the mind. It promotes blood circulation, distributes "Chi" or energy flow throughout the body as well as the mind, strengthens the functions of the internal organs, helps regulate blood pressure, tones the muscles, makes joints loose, benefits the lungs and the heart and quiets the nervous system. Other benefits include improved concentration, rhythmic breathing, co-ordination, balance and posture correction.
